Cape May Brewing Announces Bay Daze, Sessionable Sour
(Cape May, NJ) — Cape May Brewing Company is delighted to announce that their newest sessionable sour, Bay Daze, will be distributed on draft and in 12-ounce cans starting this week in New Jersey, and will be available in Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania beginning in early July.
“Bay Daze builds on the success of our fruit-forward beers,” says Director of Brewing Operations James Fox. “We utilized a timeless profile of cherry and lime and crafted a brew that’s both sweet and tart, with a hint of sea salt for added flavor.”
Bay Daze is a 4.7% ABV sessionable sour brewed with Flex hops, Pilsner and wheat malt, and London Ale III yeast.
“For the iconography of this design, we chose elements that speak to time spent on the bay, including gulls, paddle boarding, and your beloved companion,” notes Marketing Director Alicia Grasso. “The lime green and cherry red colors help highlight the primary flavors, giving consumers a refreshing beer to reach for after enjoying time by the water.”
Bay Daze is light, crushable, and offers a fruity, complex profile and aroma. As a lighter sour, it appeals to both regular beer drinkers and those looking to get into craft beer.
Bay Daze was first released in the Cape May Brewery Tasting Room last summer, and is being brought back this year on a bigger scale due to popular demand. Cape May Brewing Company is excited to share this low ABV option with its fans and those who enjoy light beer.
Distribution in New Jersey begins this week, and distribution throughout Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania begins in a few weeks, starting in early July. For more information, check out their website at capemaybrewery.com, or call (609) 849-9933.

About Cape May Brewing Company:
CMBC started in 2011, with three guys making one beer in a 1,500 square-foot space. Now, between their administrative, production, and distribution facilities in Cape May and Egg Harbor Township, they have over 74,000 square feet of space and are still #brewingstrong at the Cape May Airport. They have several hundred flagship, seasonal, and small-batch brews under their umbrella, distributed throughout New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Their original space is now dedicated to experimental brewing and their award-winning Tasting Room, with a separate, industrial brewing facility across the street. Bridging the gap between the two is their new seasonal outdoor Brewtanical Garden, which provides guests with an alternative space to enjoy popular CMBC beers, complete with attached restrooms and its own bar and servers.
