Here is the latest edition of Can Release Daily. We’ve always appreciated centralized information, and here we have some of the hottest can release drops around the country bundled in one post. We understand that these cans might be long gone by the time you read this, we hope this also serves a purpose by showing you what you might want to trade for in the next week or two. Please give us feedback on who we should be looking out for. Tomorrow at 5:00pm at our @fermentaria, we will be releasing cans of Grassman & Waiting for the Gloom! . Grassman is our Citra & Nelson Sauvin Double IPA and one of our favorites from way back in the BrewCafé catalog! Brewed with malted oats & sticky local wildflower honey. Fermented with our expressive house ale yeast. Hopped and dry hopped aggressively with Citra & Nelson Sauvin from our most recent selections in Washington and New Zealand. Expressive notes of bright pineapple, candied kiwi, orange creamsicle, candied fruits, funky ripe guava, and tangerine zest. 8.7% abv. $20/four pack. . Waiting for the Gloom (Cask Edition!) is our Fucked up and Gloomy IPA brewed originally at our humble little #BrewCafé a few months back. This is the version of WftG that we featured on cask a few weeks in a row due to guest demand!!! Constructed atop mounds of pillowy malted oats, activated charcoal, and graham crackers. Intensely hopped in the kettle with Cascade & Simcoe. Dry hopped singularly and aggressively with the almighty Nelson Sauvin from our 2018 selections in New Zealand. Conditioned on heaps of Tahitian vanilla and graham cracker. Notes of lush lemon meringue, candied concord grape, s’mores, ripe blueberry, nilla wafers, and thanksgiving pie crust. 6.6%abv. $20/four pack. . Allotments will be announced ASAP tomorrow! Our latest taproom can release, Hop Hop Troll Troll is waiting for you under the toll bridge (AKA our taproom). $18/6pk. We also have new 13.5 oz tumblers with a gold logo and brim $12 ea. Hop Hop Troll Troll is a Double IPA (8.0% ABV) variant of Hop Troll, our Single malt and single hop IPA. As a double S.M.A.S.H, it contains two malts and 2 hops. Big day for Crank and Cream and Sugar, Please! The first 6 packs ever rolled off the line today, the beers came out great, even early this morning when we had to open the first can! These should be headed out in distribution and on shelves by late next week so keep an eye out! This Saturday December 1st at 12pm, we will be releasing 16oz cans of Babylon and Apotheosis! ???????????? Babylon (6%) Sour IPA with raw wheat, malted oat, milk sugar & blood oranges; hopped w/ Galaxy. $20 four-pack / 1 case per person. ???????????? Apotheosis (6%) Sour IPA w/ raw wheat, malted oat, milk sugar, almonds, cinnamon & vanilla; hopped w/ Citra. $20 four-pack / 3 four-packs per person. ✨????✨ More info coming soon! We will begin to hand out wristbands at 8am. If you plan to arrive before this, it will be your responsibility to keep your place in line. At 8am, an HVB employee will go down the line and give a wristband out to each guest. Once you receive a wristband, you’re free to explore our beautiful city! If you arrive after 8am, please come to the front door to receive your wristband. If you choose to leave, please make sure that you return to the line at 1130am, sharp! Depending on how many people come by, we might have to lower the allotment after the first hundred people. We’ll be using different colored wristbands to make these allotment groups clear. Also, please do not remove your wristband! We will not be able to honor wristbands which have been ripped or removed. Thank you! This Saturday 12/1 from 11:30AM – 6PM at the brewery, we will debut cans of our other Other Half Collaboration: Dream Lab (10.2% TIPA) at $22 per four pack. Limit 1 case per person, limits subject to change. This release will be a normal Saturday release. Think if Dream Wave Fluctuation and Straight Outta the Laboratory had a baby with no lactose. When Sam and Anthony from @otherhalfnyc came up to brew, we were all discussing how much we liked our first EQ/OH collab Dream Wave Fluctuation, and on the EQ side, how much we like our recent beer Straight Outta the Laboratory (SOTL). We ended up taking EQ’s SOTL grain bill, modified an aggressive Other Half hopbill of Galaxy and Citra, and ran it through the SOTL process to bring out the EQ juice. This is how dreams are made. Dream Lab pours a glowing opaque tangerine color releasing aromas of passion fruit, lime, peach, and pineapple all integrated with a bright citrus backdrop. The taste is a bright creamy tropical of flavor with an escalating brightness buoyed by a soft velvety mouth feel. This beer is extremely well balanced and drinkable. In fact, I finished the whole can while writing this and caught half a buzz… please drink responsibly. – PEte More coming soon… from Brooklyn…
