We will be releasing our Boogie Nights Dark Wheat Ale with Rooibos Tea at 7.5% ABV Friday night in the taproom. They said it was just an urban legend, they said he didn’t exist, but every October the Boogie Man cometh! Now, you may be familiar with our Jungle Boogie, our Pale Wheat Ale with Rooibos Tea, but that’s where the similarities end. Using some Midnight wheat, we darken this beer to a seasonally-appropriate tint, upping the SRM without imparting any additional bitterness or roastiness. We then dry-hop this Hallowheat treat with Centennial, Simcoe and a King-size amount of Citra, imparting a scary amount of fruit flavor. Night may have settled in, but the Boogie Man never sleeps–though he does dance! Boogie Nights will debut with a throwback installation of dummies and marionettes to kick off the halloween week with some proper weirdness.
