Call To Action: Help Florida Craft Brewers – A Message from Engine 15 Brewing

(Jacksonville Beach, FL) – Craft brewers from all over Florida have been very outspoken towards proposed unfavorable legislation. Here’s a a “from the heart” note from Jacksonville Beach’s Engine 15 Brewing.

As many of you may know we Craft Brewers here in Florida are trying to get a bill passed that would allow 1/2 gallon growlers.

Well low and behold, the Budweiser distributors lobby are against it. What’s more, according to this article, they are using politicians they have in their pockets to try to threaten the future of Craft Breweries in Florida.

They are proposing legislation to make illegal dock sales of kegs and bottles from breweries to the public, eliminate guest taps in the tap rooms, make it illegal to sell beer we brew in collaboration with other breweries, etc.
