Burial Beer Exhibit Space Opens Tomorrow in Raleigh
(Raleigh, NC) – Burial Beer is excited to announce the next chapter in their retail growth – The Exhibit. Our new exploratory space opens this Saturday, January 5th from 2PM- 10PM, adjacent to Transfer Co. Food Hall in Raleigh’s growing downtown located at 500 E. Davie St., Ste. 170. The Exhibit is a place to share the story of Burial Beer Co. It’s a complete journey through our art, our products and our mantra about life and death.
This is a unique, heavily curated and very different approach to the craft beer experience. Our Raleigh exhibit space is a boutique gallery for our beer and art. The expression is similar to that of a cafe, where visitors can sample wares and take their favorites to go. We drew inspiration from chefs who have their large restaurants and their “to go” cafes, offering a different take on the customer experience.
It’s something unique and special to the Raleigh area, and its not intended to duplicate Burial’s original taproom. Our origin will always be in the funky little shack on Asheville’s South Slope. We hope that people see this new space as an outlet for our artistic passions and a focused tasting experience.
This narrow, limited space allows explorers the opportunity to sample our rarest beers on draft and in package. We will offer explorative cans and bottles previously available only in its Asheville taproom. Visitors should consider this place a permanent outpost for can releases where people can come and obtain small batch releases to share and commune outside of the confines of our walls.
We will open with a bevy of can and bottle releases starting at 2PM. Our storefront is adjacent to the main entry doors at Transfer Co on E Davie St. The line for the releases will form west on E. Davie Street and turn onto East Street avoiding intersections and staying within Transfer Co. food hall property. There is access to our space from the street. Due to the limited nature of the space, we can only allow so many folks in at a time. We will have a cart specifically for to-go beer and merch at the front of the space to allow for easy access and quick processing. We will process the line to get you cans as quickly as we can and we appreciate the support.
Long Leaf Swine will be on site to keep your stomachs full while you wait. Their team of chefs produce some of the best BBQ in the Triangle and will continue to work with Burial at Transfer for future releases. The Burial team is coming up from Asheville and we hope to meet as many folks as possible!
