Bristol Brewing – The Summer Party Season Has Arrived
News and Notes from Laura of Bristol Brewing Co. – The Summer Party Season Has Arrived
It’s finally summer, and Bristol Brewing Company is greeting the newly warm weather with open arms. We love heading outside to play almost as much as we love heading back into the brewery for a post-ride or hike beer. We hope you do too, and we hope you’ll join us for our upcoming parties.
Tomorrow, June 25th, we’ll release the ever-popular Cheyenne Cañon Piñon Nut Brown. Your taste buds will love it for its smooth, roasty flavor and full body. Your karma will love it because it’s a Community Ale, meaning 100% of the profits benefit the Friends of Cheyenne Cañon, who keep North Cheyenne Cañon Park hike and bike ready by maintaining the trails and educating visitors to this, our largest of city parks. We’ll tap it up and release the 22 oz bombers for sale at 5:00 pm. Complimentary snacks will be provided by Blue Sage Catering or you can order up some tasty La’au’s tacos from our handy, dandy taco stand.
Then Friday, June 26th, Black Fox Brewing (located right here with Bristol) will present its third offering, The Black Fox Eté. French for summer, the Eté is an unspiced Belgian Ale, which is delightfully light and refreshing, despite its 7% ABV. The lack of adjunct flavors also present the perfect opportunity for sussing out the nuanced esters of the Belgian ale yeast. The Eté will be paired BBQ nibbles from Latimer’s BBQ and Catering.
And while we’re on the subject of nuanced esters, we think you’ll be pleased to hear about Beer School 2.0. This perennially favorite wintertime activity is back and kind of official looking. We’ve partnered with the Continuing Education department of Colorado State University to bring you Zymurgy Institute, a 20 part lecture series starting in August. Click here for more information, but don’t wait too long to enroll. Space is limited and classes are already filling up.
If all that isn’t enough, join us this Saturday at The Gallery of Contemporary Art at UCCS for the ultra fun, ultra hip White Party. Bristol Brewing is a proud sponsor of this and many things cool around town. Join us in your best white duds for music, white food and white beverages (read: Edge City Pilsner) surrounded by brilliant white walls. Bristol patrons are eligible for an additional $5 off the presale ticket price. Just type the code WHITE (all caps) when you order online.
Cheers,
Laura
