Brazos Valley Brewing Doubles Brewing Capacity
(Brenham, TX) — Brazos Valley Brewing Company is pleased to announce they will be doubling capacity. Three new fermenters were commissioned last week, with the first batch of The Cause IPA already fermenting away, with five year round brews on draught and three in bottles, they will soon add seasonal releases and more package options.
“2014 has been great to us so far! We have developed a solid fan base and can barely keep up. After the bottle launch we knew it was time to grow.” said Richard Bonds, Sales Manager Brazos Valley Brewing. “The addition of these new tanks allows us the flexibility to keep the current line up in the market and begin experimenting in earnest with specialty releases, our first being a brown ale brewed in collaboration with Independence coffee.”
Available on draught:
Brazos Valley Golden Ale is crisp and refreshing with a Vienna malt flavor and a subtle hop character. This straw-colored ale has the perfect balance of Crystal hops and Vienna malt. At 22 IBUs and 5.3% ABV this is a sessionable offering that keeps you coming back for more.
Paying homage to the Mighty Brazos River, Silt Brown Ale is the color of the river that runs the length of the Brazos Valley. A malty body mixed with a hint of chocolate, slight caramel notes, and hop flavor as bold as the river it is named after. Our Silt Brown Ale settles in at 28 IBUs and 6.2% ABV and retains its smoothness and drinkability.
Available on draught and 22oz. bottles:
The Cause IPA brings intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Columbus, Centennial, and Cascade hops. This 85 IBU IPA is bittered with Columbus hops for a strong resiny and pungent bite, then flavored with Centennial and Cascade hops for citrus finish with a floral aroma and dry hopped with copious amounts of Cascade hops to push this experience over the edge.
The Effect Black IPA! With four types of “C” hops including Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, and Cascade plus a specialty malt, Black Prinz, which makes this IPA deliciously hoppy and decidedly black. The hop profile is nicely balanced by the malt body and the subtle roasted notes that are evident in the finish.
Brazos Valley Stout is a full bodied beast that is rich and malty with plenty of character. This bullish stout embodies the flavors of roasted barley, chocolate, and Munich malt. Its powerful hop profile is nicely balanced with the rich malts. Its creamy long lasting head never backs down. At 8.0 % ABV this stout warms your soul on any night.
