Boulevard Adds Pop-Up I.P.A. To Hoppy Lineup
(Kansas City,MO) – Boulevard Brewing Company is excited to announce the expansion of its I.P.A. offerings with a new year-round addition to its core line. Pop-Up I.P.A. joins its bigger brothers, Single-Wide and Double-Wide, in our trailer park of hop-centric beers. This “session” model is built for frequent excursions, with a very drinkable character and relatively low bitterness tucked behind a big, fruity hop aroma. Available in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles, 1/6 and 1/2 barrels, the new beer will appear in select Boulevard markets over the next month.
“I’ve been challenging our brewers to experiment with full-flavored, lower alcohol beers for quite some time,” said John McDonald, Boulevard founder and president. “It is important to me that Boulevard has balanced offerings that beer fans can enjoy for any occasion. Pop-Up I.P.A. has become a staple in my refrigerator ever since the first test batches were produced.”
The newest Boulevard beer measures in at 4.2% ABV (alcohol by volume). Session beers are typically brews under 5% ABV and come in a variety of styles. Boulevard is currently experimenting with other session beers and could release other offerings in the near future.
