Boulder Beer Co. – 2010 Release Schedule Including New Beer

Here is the Boulder Beer Co.’s 2010 Release Schedule. They have added Looking Glass Series Beer to their line up, but have not decided on the Style yet.

Never Summer Ale – 6 packs and Kegs – January – March, October – December, 2010
Never Summer Ale is a bold new look at winter beers: gutsy, full-bodied and an aggressive fusion of secret spices. Like the first run of the day, this ale is deep and clean, crisp and drinkable, perfectly blended for a smooth ride…through the Looking Glass. Grains: British Dark Caramel Malt, U.S. 2-row Barley. Hops: Nugget, Willamette, Cascade and Top-Secret Brewmaster’s Spice.

Mojo Risin’ Double IPA – 4-packs and Kegs – January 16 – February, 2010
Mojo Risin Double IPA is a souped up, extreme version of Mojo IPA. Brewed with more than a half-ton of extra malt and twice the amount of hops – then double dry hopped with Amarillo hops for added intensity.  10% Alcohol By Volume.

Flashback India Brown Ale – 6 packs and Kegs – March – December, 2010
Flashback Anniversary Ale is an India Brown Ale with 6.8% ABV. This is the first beer we’ve made here that uses one single hop variety (Cascade) in the recipe in five separate additions. The fresh Cascade hop aroma and flavor is perfectly balanced with the dark roasted grains, making Flashback a very unique beer. We’re calling it an India Brown Ale to help illustrate its flavor to the consumer. It’s hoppy like an IPA but dark and roasty like a Brown Ale. Put them together and voila! Flashback at its finest! 6.8% Alcohol By Volume

Cold Hop British-style Ale – 6 packs and Kegs – May 10 – August, 2010
Cold Hop British-style ale, a unique ale with a rich golden hue, and the 7th release in our Looking Glass Series of specialty beers. Cold Hop’s pleasantly fruity, floral hop aroma and earthy flavor perfectly balance the mild sweetness of the English grains, resulting in a refreshing yet high-gravity British-Style ale. 6.5% Alcohol By Volume

Obovoid Oak-aged Oatmeal Stout – 22 oz. bottles and Kegs -October 4th – November 2010
Brewed with an abundance of black and chocolate malts. Then aged on oak to add an earthy character. Obovoid is a rich smooth stout with a creamy, off-white head. Limited Release 6.8% Alcohol By Volume.

Killer Penguin Barley Wine Style Ale – 22 oz. bottles and Kegs – November – December 2010
We’ve been pestered for two years by loyal fans of this big bad bird to make more. So we finally caved in. We won’t be releasing this high octane barleywine until the weather gets cold. Until the brewers come up with a better description, it can best be described by intercepted e-mails from the webguy himself. “Be Affraid of the Penguin Man. Be very affraid. It’s served in Brandy Snifters at the Pub. Deserving, it is.” 10 % Alcochol by Volume.
