Blue Palms Brewhouse Granted Temporary Lease Extension
There are new developments regarding what was seen as the pending closure of Hollywood craft beer bar Blue Palms. As we previously reported this week, Blue Palms had gotten into some lease limbo as The Music Box, the primary name on their lease, had shuttered. With locals, beer fans, and industry professionals rallying for Blue Palms this week, it seems that the owner of the building may be having a change of heart from their original plan to oust the popular establishment. We received a message from Blue Palms’ Matthew Olesh with news that BP will be able to operate for a little while longer until a permanent solution can be negotiated.
“We have great news! Thanks to all of your continued support, the owner of the building has agreed to allow us to continue operating for at least the next 2-3 weeks. We continue to discuss a long term solution with the owner and remain hopeful that a deal can soon be reached. The owner has been, and continues to be incredibly accommodating during this uncertain time following the closure of The Music Box. We want our fans and customers to know that the owner has been very fair with us and is doing all she can to allow us to continue serving amazing food and craft beer to the Los Angeles Community. We’ll continue to post updates on Facebook & Twitter as new information becomes available. Thank you all for your continued support. Join us in raising a toast to the owner for her kindness and understanding. Cheers!”- Matthew Olesh of Blue Palms Brewhouse
