Big Sky Brewing Releases Cans In Missoula

On March 19th Big Sky Brewing Co. joined the growing number of craft breweries offering beer in cans with the local release of Moose Drool Brown Ale and Trout Slayer Ale, a filtered wheat beer.

In 2008, VP of Operations, Kris Nabozney was introduced to the Mastercan 10-1 rotary can filler manufactured by SYMPAK International. Kris remarked, “Finally there’s a can filler that meets our requirements for low oxygen pick up which ensures the quality and stability of our beer. Big Sky Brewing is the only brewery in the world that is using a fully electronic can filler. This machine is truly cutting edge Technology”.

Neal Leathers, president of Big Sky Brewing Co., went on to add “We really like the beer quality, the recyclability and they’re shiny to boot!”
Big Sky Brewing Co. has released both delicious offerings just in time for all those outdoor activities where glass is prohibited: hiking, boating, camping, golf, ect.
The cans will be available everywhere that Big Sky products are sold in early May.
