Ballast Point Victory at Sea Returns for 2010

Finally, the 2010 version of Victory at Sea is ready!  Beer gods willing, 22oz bottles will be filled tomorrow morning and available for sale at both of our two brewery locations when they open for business at 11am.  For those of you who have not had the opportunity to taste this beauty, you will be able to before you commit to a purchase, as it will also be available on draft at both of our taster bars.
A little info….

Victory at Sea is a big, bold 10% ABV Imperial Porter.  Our friends at Cafe Calabria created a special blend of hand selected coffees from around the world and roasted them fresh the day the coffee was brewed for addition to the beer.   A 24 hour cold extraction process is employed to coax out only the finest flavors in the coffee, leaving behind many of the harsher, more bitter compounds.  The pure vanilla extract added post fermentation is a perfect complement to this roasty goodness of this brew.   We hope you can make it by tomorrow and raise a glass with us as we toast “To Victory!”  Cheers!
