AleSmith Hall of Fame: Imperial .394 Release
Originally a faint idea dreamt up by Tony Gwynn and Peter Zien, the now imperial version of their collaboration, San Diego Pale Ale .394, will make an appearance in our 20th Anniversary Specialty Release Series. All proceeds from this beer will go towards raising funds for the Tony Gwynn Museum which will honor this hall of famer and raise money for TAG (Tony & Alicia Gwynn Foundation) at AleSmith’s new facility.

PALE ALE .394 (ABV 9%)
AleSmith Brewing’s Hall of Fame version of the legendary Tony Gwynn San Diego Pale Ale .394 pays tribute to the one and only Mr. Padre and his commitment to excellence. Just like its predecessor, this “imperial” or “double” .394 is bursting with even more American hops, lending the beer a diverse palate of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. The bottle is decorated with real gold and includes the special Tony Gwynn HOF/’07 replica signature from his 2007 Hall induction. Tony envisioned this beer in early 2014 and AleSmith is honored to make another of his dreams come true.

Starting Monday, April 27th at 11:00am PST, you will be able to purchase up to (4) four bottles of Hall of Fame: Imperial San Diego Pale Ale .394 via Brown Paper Tickets (prices exclude tax and BPT service fee).
Imperial .394 bottles can be picked up starting Saturday, May 9th at our Tony Gwynn Birthday Celebration in the AleSmith Tasting Room beginning at 11am. Bottles can be retrieved during tasting room hours from Saturday, May 9th through Sunday, June 21st 2015. **Any bottles not retrieved by SUNDAY, JUNE 21st will be surrendered back to the brewery (no exceptions).**
Please do not purchase bottles until you’ve read all purchasing instructions and terms & conditions, and can ensure you will be able to pick up your bottles by SUNDAY, JUNE 21ST, 2015!

Hall of Fame Release Party & Tony Gwynn’s Birthday

On what would have been his 55th birthday, we pay tribute to the one and only Mr. Padre. We will be hosting an all day event here at the AleSmith tasting room and celebrating Tony’s birthday in the best way that we know how… with the new brew! This will be the first day that you can pick up your bottles of Hall of Fame: Imperial San Diego Pale Ale .394.

Gwynn Gourmet Food Truck will be parked out back serving up Tony’s favorites starting at 11:00am!
Lil’ Miss Short Cakes will also be here starting at 4pm with homemade .394 cupcakes in honor of Tony’s Birthday.
