19.2oz Cans Of Dales Pale Ale Set To Hit Arizona Market
America’s first 19.2 oz hopped up cans of Dale’s Pale Ale set to roll out in the Arizona market – you’re gonna to need a bigger koozie
Phoenix, AZ – Dale is over CANpensating for something, maybe everything! Ten years ago, Oskar Blues Brewery kick-started the craft-beer-in-a-can craze with their voluminously hopped Dale’s Pale Ale. That same, hair brained, boundary bustin’ brewery is now unleashing America’s first 19.2 oz, single-serve can of their iconic Dale’s Pale Ale. You’re gonna need a bigger koozie.
The new Imperial pint is almost three-inches taller than the standard 12 oz can while the diameter remains the same. Oskar Blues is the first brewer in North America – craft or otherwise – to package beer in this unique, sleek-looking can.
The cans will be sold in the single-serve section of liquor stores where seasonal and 22 oz bombers are usually sold. This is Oskar Blues Brewery’s first single-serve can and its launch marks the celebration of 10 years of canning Dale’s Pale Ale.
“Continuing to push the boundaries is what gets us up in the morning, it’s what drives us. This package is a product of that drive and passion. We continue to do what we love, toss a can in your backpack for the backcountry or grab a stovepipe at a music or sports venue. A 19.2 oz can of Dale’s Pale Ale to go with your favorite band, hell yes.” says Oskar Blues Soul-Founder Dale Katechis.
Dale’s Pale Ale was America’s first hand-canned craft beer. It delivers a hoppy nose, assertive but balanced flavors of pale malts and hops from start to finish. First canned in 2002, Oskar Blues voluminously hopped mutha is a hearty 6.5% ABV and 65 IBUs critically acclaimed trailblazer that has changed the way craft beer fiends perceive canned beer. Dale’s Pale Ale has been called “One of the quintessential American hoppy pale ales of our time,” was named the “Top US Pale Ale” by the New York Times, is the #1 selling Pale Ale in coloRADo and #1 selling canned six-pack in America.
Dale’s Pale Ale is available at fine beer and wine establishments like Total Wine, Whole Foods, BevMo, A.J.’s Top’s Liquor, Sun Devil Liquor, Flanny’s Bar & Grill, Papago Brewing, World of Beer, & Fox Cigar Bar.
About Oskar Blues
Dale Katechis founded the quirky brewpub turned regional craft brewery inside his original restaurant and music venue in 1999. He saw regionally distributing Oskar Blues beer as a way to drive restaurant business during the sleepy winters of small town Lyons, Colo. During the process of researching packaging options, Dale chose to can his flagship Dale’s Pale Ale instead of following the industry standard of bottling. That unique choice has helped the company double its business every year for the last 8 years.
