New Brew Thursday – Row 2 Hill 56 : Russian River Brewing Co.
This week we’re drinking a delicious, newly bottled, hoppy treat from Russian River Brewing Company, the Row 2 Hill 56. A tribute to the amazing hop Simcoe, and the location in Yakima that this hop had first been created. Special thanks to Mike Sardina (@msardina) for getting this beer to us!
Stephen is an attention whore, no shock there, John’s never seen Blazing Saddles, WTF?!, and Matt wants to throw hops at Vinnie from Russian River, in a fanboy sorta way ..
After Master Pairings, we agree that we hate anchovies, and they are salty, John thinks anything Vinnie can do, he can do too.. Stephen doesn’t really think this beer sucks and Matt has a watery mouth.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be celebrating with The Full Pint with their 5th anniversary party at Naja’s Place on August 10th, and then on August 12th we’ll be celebrating with Blue Palms for their 4th Anniversary, and we’ll be celebrating with Stone Brewing Co for their 16th Anniversary on the 17th ..
