Alaskan White

Alaskan Brewing Co. – Alaskan White – Poured into a pint glass – 5.3% abv.
Appearance: Pours a yellow gold that is for the most part translucent, with some noticeable cloudiness. The head goes from a inch of foamy suds to a 1/4 inch of white bubbles.
Aroma: Banana, coriander, orange rind, sweet wheat.
Taste: A wonderful balance of mild hops, and some sweat malted wheat.
Mouthfeel: Thin yet heavy. Not nearly as heavy as an American Wheat.
Overall: Highly flavorful, heavier than it looks, and very tasty. I feel as if this is a hybrid of an American and Belgian Wheat Beer.
