Bootlegger's Brewery Rustic Rye IPAFrom Bootlegger’s Brewery - Our latest addition to our year-round lineup. For you hop heads out there, you have to try this! This American style IPA made with rye grain tops the charts at over 85 IBU (that’s a lot of bitter!). It’s starts with floral hop notes a big malty body hinting at the underlying rye grain and finishes with a nice clean bitterness.

Bootlegger’s Brewery – Rustic Rye IPA – 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 6.2% abv. From the brewery!

Appearance: Pours a vibrant amber with 1/16 inch white head.

Aroma: A slight bit of citrus and a noticeable amount of sweet caramel like malt.

Taste: Rye malt, caramel, and piny malt with a small touch of citrus in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied and thick.

Overall: A real sturdy, flavorful beer.  Nice hop flavor and aroma with a equally sturdy malt backbone.
