From Alaskan Brewing: Alaskan Pale is made from glacier-fed water and a generous blend or European and Pacific Northwest hop varieties and premium two-row pale and specialty malts. Our water originates in the 1,500 square-mile Juneau Ice Field and the more than 90 inches of rainfall we receive each year.

Appearance: Light gold with almost no head. There is a small amount of visible carbonation rising to the top of the glass.

Aroma: Small whiffs of pale malt and other grains.
Taste: Pale malt, and bitter hops. Almost tastes like a pilsener with the level of bitter hops. Finishes with a small citrusy twang, although there is nothing fruity about this beer.

Mouthfeel: Crisp and thin.The bitterness you get from the hops does not linger at all.

Overall: I would enjoy this in the summertime. It’s not my kind of pale ale, but as a beer all by itself, it is highly drinkable and refreshing.
