O’Brien’s “Liongate” Comes to A Peaceful End

We reported over the weekend that O’Brien’s Pub in San Diego was caught off guard when they found an O’Brien’s Pub in Connecticut using a near identical logo.  We just found out via O’Brien’s San Diego proprietor Tom Nickel that this situation came to a peaceful end.

Lion Gate is over! I just talked to the owner of the CT O’Brien’s and he is going to change the logo. So all is well. A friend gave him several lion images from the internet which to choose, so at least he didn’t pay someone to give him our logo. So no need for any more posts on the CT O’Brien’s page. The owner was very nice about it. Cheers.
