Review – Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
DogFish Head 90 Min IPA review submitted by The Full Pint Dot Com Board member ‘RoRo.’
Beautiful pale golden color, reminicent of that of a Budweiser with a little thing called taste added, and the hops parade to the nose. With 90 IBU’s , this will be a trip for anyone who is not a hop-head. Hops to the back and beautiful malt balance. Everything bad about most overhopped beers is non-existent here. The grand daddy of the IIPA is well balanced. Clears the palate justly, however, you know that you are drinking a hoppy beer.
Overall: A great beer, American classic. Of the 3 continualy hopped beers, this is I think the best example. Hop heads and the beer curious alike will enjoy the plesently hoppy drinkability of this American classic.
