Boulder, CO – To celebrate their heritage and help to raise money for Community Food Share of Boulder County, Boulder Beer Company invites one and all to the GOATSHED REVIVAL on Saturday, August 23rd, from 12 – 7pm. The Goatshed Revival will take place at Boulder Beer Company, 2880 Wilderness Place, Boulder, Colorado.
In 1979, two homebrewing CU professors were granted the 43rd brewing license in U.S. history and a brewing revolution began in Colorado. They set up the original brewhouse in a goatshed north of Boulder, so to commemorate their heritage in the goatshed and to celebrate how far the brewery has come, Boulder Beer wants to toast its 29th year of craft brewing with style. And what better way to do so than to spread the love and help out local people in need!

The time has come to release the second vintage of our award winning Cuvee de Castleton.
This beer was a Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winner in the American Sour Ale category in 2007, the inaugural year of the category.
Cuvee de Castleton is a Golden Ale that has been aged in French and American oak barrels with both Brettanomyces (wild yeast) and Muscat Grapes, for over a year.
It is a sour and tart beer with an intensely fruity aroma of both grapes and citrus….not for those of you who don’t like sour beer!

Seating begins at 5 p.m.
Join Fred Eckhardt, the dean of American beer writers and a pioneer in blending beer with cheese, for a unique tasting of 10 microbrews with 10 gourmet cheeses.
“Cheese coats the tongue, blunting wine flavors, and wine doesn’t tend to have flavors that harmonize with cheese… Beer, on the other hand, has carbonations to cleanse the palate and a broad range of flavors that link up with the flavors of the cheese.” - Garrett Oliver

Dear St. Arnold’s Army:
Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But Christmas Ale makes it so delightful.
Turn the air conditioning way down low,
Let it flow, let it flow, let it flow!
CHRISTMAS IN JULY CASES SHIPPING STARTING TODAY!
These July days in the 90°s make us long for those crisp, cool December days when it only gets up to 80°. Such reminiscing reminded us of how good a Christmas Ale would taste right about now. So we brewed up one special batch for release this month for our second annual Christmas in July celebration. There are only about 500 cases and 8 kegs to spread around Houston. Cases will start appearing in stores today and the keg release schedule is below. So pull out the Christmas lights, start playing the carols and put on the reindeer sweater from Aunt Mabel. Merry Christmas!
