Inaugural Big Texas Beer Fest This Weekend
Dallas, TX – The Big Texas Beer Fest is North Texas’ first 100% craftbeer inspired beer festival. Grassroots beer, food, and music festival organized by husband and wife team, Chad and Nellie Montgomery.
The festival will feature 80-100 breweries with 300+ beers from all over the world. The festival will focus heavily on the emerging Texas craft beer scene.
A number of Texas breweries have already promised us exclusive kegs and firkins for this event, with many more planned to come.
The festival will also feature a lot of food trucks to sample local artisanal food.
Free cheese samples and lots of other free stuff to check out.

Just wanted to leave a note to say how awesome this event was. Chad and Nellie did an amazing job with everything, considering it was their first event ever! The only complaints I heard of were mostly those that you hear at every event, mostly by those who are less fortunate in having attended any major similar events (GABF, etc)…beer lines, food lines, lines to get in. With that said, I also heard the longest anyone waited to get in once the doors were open was ~30 minutes…acceptable, to me, for an event of this scale. Beer lines, even the “long” ones, moved quickly and with great efficiency. Food…ok…two trucks bailed on even showing up at the event with no notice at all. The remaining food trucks were strained by this, and subsequently, long lines happened. Again, though, easily resolved going forward.
Overall, again, this was a fantastic and successful event that was controlled and managed very well and very smoothly.
