Join us on Saturday, March 7th for a cherry blossom filled day as we highlight the South Coast Botanic Garden, our first 1% for the Planet partner of 2020! The Gardens serve our local community by providing a unique horticultural and wildlife habitat experience, and to represent a model of excellence for land reclamation and sustainability.
Activities for the day include:
All day
A full line-up of Smog City stone fruit themed beers.
We’ll be digging through out cellars to bring some rare beers that are all brewed with stone fruits. We’ll also be serving up two house-made beer cocktails featuring June Lady and White Peach Saison.
11:30am
Cherry Blossom Yoga
Join us in the taproom before opening for a meditative moment with South Coast Botanic Garden staffer and certified yoga instructor, Rory Hinz. Rory will lead us through a cherry blossom themed practice, with a focus on balance, stretching and meditation. Participants will consider the cherry blossom as a symbol of the fleeting passing of time and can further relax with the purchase of a stone fruit beer after class. The class is donation based. All donations will go directly to the Garden’s. Space is limited to 20 people, so sign up quick!
