    Narwhal is marginally better than Expedition imo. Pretty regularly available in my market these days. Both are delicious however. Nice piece!

    Thank you for the write-up. I may start cellaring some bottles . . . in the name of science. Bell’s Expedition is a favorite of mine as well. I think of Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout, Sierra Nevada Narwhal and Spider Bite Boris the Spider as comparables. I like Speedway Stout and Ten Fidy a lot also, though I don’t think of them as comparables. The GD Yeti, Founders IS and GL Blackout Stout bottles I have had have not made as great an impression but will give them another shot at some point.

    1997 was the best Expedition Stout they’ve ever done! Still have a bunch of oldies…they age incredibly well.

    Personal favorites, Great Divide’s Yeti & Boulevard’s Dark Truth. Also a huge fan of Ten Fidy.

    I drink bells expedition stout. it is very good but I think Great Devide Yetti It is better!! I have had all those others u mentioned but I prefer Yetti !! Cheers ????????
