Had some Heady Topper on Thurs pm at Small Bar in University Heights-San Diego. A 5-star beer for sure. Delicious.

My GF shared a pic of it at Blue Palms, HW Blvd., Hollywood, CA.
We’ve had Heady Topper before. It’s amazing. GF got me some. I harvested the yeast (we’re both Melrose Falcons).

There is Heady Topper left at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido as of closing 5/16. There will be Heady Topper left in the morning with a 1 pack limit. The store opens at 10:00 AM, cheers!

“One concern I had was that they are distributing through Craft Brewers Guild, who has been part of the supply chain that has let Bell’s and Founders get dusty on the shelf here in SoCal.“

Sorry Mr. Fullpint, but CBG doesn’t sell Founders. As for Bells, ever since Two Hearted was named the best IPA in America by Zymurgy magazine, bottles and six-packs are not on the shelves long enough to get dusty.

Attending the Alchemist release event at Stone Escondido on March 21st was the best bet. Their three sought-after IPAs, plus two stouts…all on tap in the beer garden. I don’t know how Alchemist managed it, but it was a brilliant event!

Check out the Bine & Vine (in Kensington) website – they are taking orders for the Alchemist cans.
