I received this in the mail on Friday courtesy of Redhook after they stumbled upon my blog, Beer Epiphany. I just posted a review of 8-4-1. It’s quite boozy, but mighty tasty. I would recommend this to anyone looking to see what Redhook is capable of.

I have had this on C02, cask and in the bottle (all from the Woodinville, WA location)

Best from the bottle, as you can warm it. They serve the draft and cask way too cold.

Get a bottle when you can and let it sit out for an hour. When you do, you will have one of the best Redhook beers ever made…I am really glad they are releasing some interesting brews.

They have a Big Ballard Imperial IPA due out soon, and are serving an Eisbock in their taphouse…good stuff.
