I’m not much of a drinker,I guess you’d call me a goodie goodie. But I have been to Mt. Shasta’s Brewing Company, Love the Old Fashion Bar.. It was great innocent fun, the people including Mr. Dillman were wonderful and humorous…The Beer was one of a kind.
The Lemurian Lager is pretty much the only beer i can honestly say i like the flavor. The town in which the brewery resides in is called “Weed”.Go ahead try and say it without a smirk on your face. You really can’t. It’s an unusual name. You have a great small home town brewery making some life of it, laugh a little..

Phew, thank god someone can protect us poor helpless impressionable consumers from these heathens. Since i read the bottle cap i have already tried pot for the first time and used it as a gateway drug to meth and lost all my teeth.

Good thing he didn’t put Santa on the brand as well. That would have really sent them to crazy-town.
Does anyone ever get the feeling this is where old TV censors from the 50’s and 60’s go to die. A lot of the rules I’ve encountered seem to have been penned by Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority.

I agree that this does seem to be a case of one company being singled out in an unfair way.. I applaud Mr. Dillman’s community pride and can only interpret it as a play on words hinting at doing something that is totally legal (drinking a great-tasting brew from a small independent brewery) that sounds naughty because of how it is worded. I think the statement by the bureau spokesman implies people are going to make an abstract inference to something illegal from reading the word ‘weed’ on the bottle’s cap, whilst totally ignoring the preceding word, ‘legal.’
