As a former Porter brewer I’m sort of picky but this one hit most of my buttons.
Bought one to try, will go back for a couple of sixers.

Me too, Josephsbrau. Is that a joke on the TJ’s name?

If you add some raw sugar to it, it will taste very close to Mackinson’s Stout!! At a reduced price! – Bear’s friend.

Wow! This is the best new (to me) beer I’ve tasted in several years. I like dark ales… the darker and chewier the better.
    WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT:
    1. The Name… gotta love that
    2. I can taste the yeast. Yeah, like drinkin a loaf of soft chewy bread. I haven’t had this much fun drinking a bear since Tooth’s Sheaf Stout!
    3. Full of classic DARK ale flavor.
    4. Goes down easy.. almost too easy!

I was trying for years to get Tooth’s Sheaf Stout again from Australia.. virtually unavailable in the U.S. Since I tasted this, I think I’ll quit looking.
