Pub & Kitchen will host its First Firkin Friday Event with Yard’s Brewing Co.

Pub & Kitchen and Yards Brewing Company Announce First Firkin Friday Tapping Event

On Friday, November 21, at 4 pm, Pub & Kitchen (1946 Lombard Street, Philadelphia PA 215-545-0350) will host its first Firkin Friday event with Yards Brewing Company. Pub & Kitchen will offer $3 pints from Yard’s cast ale kegs of Extra Special Ale (ESA), a robust and hearty amber ale with a malt body and aromatic hop finish; and George Washington Tavern Porter, based on Washington’s original recipe, is a rich and warm molasses-based Tavern Porter with a deep garnet hue.

In addition to Friday’s event, every Monday through Friday, from 4 until 6 p.m., Pub & Kitchen offers Philadelphia’s most delicious and affordable Happy Hour. Guests can enjoy house wines for $5 per glass, domestic draught pints for $3 and a menu of Chef Jonathan McDonald’s flavorful bar snacks for $2 as well as delicious oysters for $1 each. Bar snacks include: Duck Liver Toasts; White Fish “Roll Mops”; Boiled Eggs with sea salt; Calamari Cocktail; Oyster Crackers and horseradish; Malt Vinegar Potato Crisp; Pork Cracklings; and Marinated Olives.
