Did you know that Firestone will be releasing its 13th Anniversary Ale at both their Paso Robles and Beulton facilities on Saturday the 14th, with their annual release party taking place in Paso Robles? Just thought you should know that. Anyway, to celebrate the second Friday of beer week I’ll be tapping some great beers from The Firestone Walker Brewery and have Jim Crooks, Firestone’s Quality Assurance Manager, on hand to take part in the festivities.

Here’s what I’m putting on tap…

• Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA
• Firestone Walker Double Jack IPA
• Firestone Walker Parabola
• Firestone Walker Bravo Barrel Aged Brown Ale
• Firestone Walker Double Double Barrel Ale

• Cask of unfiltered Firestone Walker Double Barrel Ale

Did I also mention that the Firestone Walker 12th Anniversary Ale will be available in 3 ounce tasters at 7pm on the 13th at The Bistro? Yeah, not too shabby. Wonder if I could spice up the event a little more?

There’s one other thing I seem to have forgotten. What was it? Hmmm…

Oh yeah, through the generosity of the powers that be at Firestone Walker, Jim will be bringing down a case of the 13th Anniversary for us to try on Friday the 13th at 7pm, the day before it is released. That’s right, Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens will be the first place anyone can taste the Firestone Walkers 13th Anniversary Ale!
