Erie Brewing 1st Annual Beer on the Bay a Success!

Submitted by Jonny Fullpint on August 19, 2008 – 12:00 pm No Comment

Erie Brewing Co’s first annual Beer on the Bay event was a success. Sunny skies set the way to a wonderful afternoon of beer sampling and fun.

With a great turnout from both participating breweries and patrons this event will sure to be a sell out next year. Again Erie Brewing Co. would like to thank all our volunteers, Breweries and everyone else who made this event a success

What’s Fermenting at Erie Brewing?

2008 Seasonal release of Fallenbock, Erie Brewing’s Oktoberfest lager is getting ready hit the shelves as you read this. This 7.8% abv chocolate brown colored lager features a Robust, roasted, chocolate malt flavor, followed with a clean and crisp finish. So keep an eye out so you can be the first one to pick up this tasty beer.

Also getting ready to brew is Erie Brewing Co Heritage Alt Beer. Heritage Alt Beer is our tribute to the rich German Heritage in Erie and will be released during the German Heritage Festival in Erie, over labor day weekend. Heritage Alt Beer is a coffee brown colored, Old Style German Dark Ale with hints of roasted and chocolate malt flavor and a mild earthy hop finish. With only 5.4% abv Heritage Alt Beer is certainly an easy drinking, full flavored ale.
