Beer Tasting hosted by TheFullPint and Whole Foods Arroyo

Submitted by Jonny Fullpint on November 26, 2008 – 3:35 pm No Comment

Saturday, Dec 6th, 6pm-8pm. $5 per person

TheFullPint.com and Whole Foods Market, on Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena are hosting a beer tasting. Anyone 21 and over is welcome to stop on by between 6-8pm to taste some of the nicer beers made in California.  The intention of this tasting is to introduce “good beer” to people interested in the craft brew movement, as well as having people who “don’t like beer”, give it a second chance.  Most people associate beer with Bud, Miller, or Coors, and think all beer is piss yellow, bitter, and stinky.

Here is the tentative lineup of beers that will be sampled during the tasting. These will also be available on location, for purchase. Lineup subject to change.

AleSmith Anvil ESB – An Extra Special Bitter
Green Flash Hop Head Red – A California Amber/Red Ale
Moylan’s Kiltlifter – A Scottish Style Ale
Port Old Viscosity – A California Strong Ale
Stone Ruination – A California Double IPA
