AleSmith Pairing Dinner at Sonoma Cellar

Submitted by Jonny Fullpint on March 20, 2009 – 2:01 pm No Comment

Alesmith Brewing CompanyWe are very excited to announce our next beer pairing dinner with Chef Schuyler Schultz and the folks at Sonoma Cellar Steakhouse in Henderson, NV!

We had such a great experience with our last dinner there, it was decided that we had to create another meal together ASAP. Chef Schuyler’s cuisine, truly inspired and innovative use of sustainable, “farm-to-table” ingredients, is a perfect fit for our food-friendly craft brews.

Whether you live in the Vegas area and are looking for a spectacular meal and a few rare AleSmith brews, or if you’re looking for a great reason to hit Vegas for the weekend, please join us Thursday, April 9th, at 6pm for another night of great food and great beer!

Here’s the menu:

First Course
Almond Soup
Spanish Marcona Almonds, Chives
Nautical Nut Brown Ale

Second Course
Chimay Belgian Abbey Cheese
Mâche Salad, Easter Egg Radish
Lil’ Devil – Belgian-Style Ale

Third Course
Barley Risotto with Mushrooms and Carlsbad Black Mussels
Porcini and Oyster Mushrooms, Herbs, Mushroom and Mussel Crème
Winter Yulesmith – Imperial Red Ale

Fourth Course
Grilled Colorado Lamb Tenderloins
Montmorency Cherry Demi-Glace, Thumbelina Carrots, Micro Mustard Greens
2008 Decadence Ale

Dessert
California Date Shake with Cocoa Nib Cake
Oasis Date Gardens Medjool Dates, Vanilla Bean Syrup
2007 Barrel-Aged Decadence Ale – Imperial Porter

The meal will be $75 (plus tax and gratuity) and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at (702) 547-7898 after 5:00pm. Be sure to mention the beer dinner specifically!

…Should we remind you that the Sunset Station Casino has over 70 lanes of bowling and a movie theater, too?? We had a great time there last Fall and hope you’ll join us there this year!
