I have to say, at this years AmeriCAN Canned Beer Festival in Arizona, I felt that their “Wolf Among Weeds” was one of the best beers at the festival. It was one of the only beers that actually made me almost double take when I took the first sip. It is, and was the only beer I’ve had from them thus far, but it that is any indication, I certainly won’t hesitate to try something else from them when given the chance.

    Full Pint:
I can’t say “great job” enough to you, for your approach to GRB and for this post. I completely agree with your assessment of GRB, and think that most of the people who have complained are part of a problem, not part of building a successful craft beer community. The problem is being small-minded, and not being able to see the forest for the trees. As far as marketing goes, companies will live and die by how they market and from the timing of their marketing. Maybe GRB is too aggressive…maybe not. I come from a marketing background, and have felt like they’re doing a lot of things perfectly. You guys are doing a great job though of being objective, and focusing on the beer, which is what I turn to you for, along with coverage of the “scene” overall. Thanks again for being so professional and helping build the community here in LA. I know this sounds like I must be a GRB employee, but I’m not. I have some friends who work there, and I’m in the process of launching a craft beer venture too, with some partners, which is why I’m interested in seeing professional coverage of this rapidly expanding scene/business. Thanks again. – Herb
