Review - BrewDog Rip Tide

From BrewDog: It was only a matter of time before the original BrewDog got his paws in on the action. This egotistical young lab has decided to make a beer which best reflects himself.

This is the beer equivalent of the big, cute chocolate monster.

Soft, smooth, dark, chocolately and very strong. This gentle giant will never bite but would much rather give you a big lick on the face.

Purchased from Dawsons Liquors in Severna Park, MD. Chilled and poured into a pint glass. 8% ABV.

Appearance: Black, no head at all.

Aye, ‘tis true, laddie! It’s our pleasure to personally introduce our new friends at BrewDog, an up and coming microbrewery located on the rugged North East coast of Scotland! Founding a brewery from scratch, James Watt & Martin Dickie have crafted some assertively tasty beers and definitely march to the beat of their own drum (sound like anyone else you know?) Get to know them and their great lineup of brews as we welcome them to the balmier climes of SoCal.
