While still recovering from the most fun party I have ever attended, I am taking one for the team, and reviewing a growler of Port Brewing 2nd Anniversary Ale. I have had this on cask, bottle, and draft. This review is of the draft version. This brew could be considered a cousin of High Tide IPA and Hop 15, two beers that are wonderfully hoppy and complex.
Poured in my La Fin Du Monde chalice. ~10% abv.
Appearance:
Murky golden with a foamy, thin head at the top.

“White Knuckle Ale” is a Double India Pale Ale. That’s right, twice the malt and twice the hops in one 14 barrel batch. It is named in honor of the exciting bike trail on Mt. Tam. If you’re a “hophead ”, this is ones for you; fat, chewy, resiny, and pungent!
