Review – Rubicon IPA

Submitted by Dan on April 4, 2008 – 11:58 am One Comment

Generous portions of Cascade and Chinook Hops are added throughout the brew process to create Rubicon’s Flagship Ale, golden in color with an assertive hop bitterness. A true American Classic!

Appearance: Golden orange. Thin head with swirls looking from the top down. Light can get through, but can definitely not see through it.

Aroma: Grapefruit and malts.

Taste: Like an unfiltered Victory Hop Wallop. Really tasty. Lots of citrus and malt sneaking around the corner.

Mouthfeel: Sticky, juicy and tart.

Overall: An excellent IPA, bordering on Double IPA territory. This meets my expectations.
