From Nodding Head Brewing in Philadelphia, PA, On Draft 5% abv. : English-Style Brown ale… malty with a medium body and hints of chocolate… makes for a great dark session beer

Appearance: Nearly opaque jet black with a quarter inch head.

Smell: While citrusy notes of lemon and lime are at the forefront, the smell of brown sugar and molasses lingers as well.

Taste: A smoky, dark chocolate taste with a startlingly sweet aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Though heavy at first, it has a bright, long finish.

Drinkability: Though it’s a dark beer you need to take your time with, its sweet finish makes it a very easy drinking stout.
