Nodding Head Brewing LogoFrom Philadelphia Contributor Nathan

From Nodding Head, on draft, 10% abv.: our Double IPA… one very hoppy yet immensely drinkable beer… brewed with three varieties of American hops all beginning with the letter C Chinook, Cascade and Centennial

Appearance: A dark, rusty red. Thin, quarter-inch head.

Aroma: Heavy wood smells, mainly pine and cedar.

Taste: A mouthfull o’ hops. Though not overdone like other hop heavy beers, it’s surprisingly crisp.

Mouthfeel: Alarmingly light on the palate, it has a clean, easy finish, albeit a little dry.

Drinkability: A startlingly smooth double IPA, it drinks like a much lighter beer, in spite of it having a hearty 8.25% ABV.

This beer is available on draft at Nodding Head Brewery 1516 Sansom Street 2nd Floor Philadelphia, PA
