Paulaner Brauerei – Paulaner Hefeweissbier – 12 oz. bottle poured into an imperial pint glass. 5.6% abv. From Whole Foods Market Pasadena, CA.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy amber gold with a gorgeous dense white foamy head.

Aroma: Crusty, bready notes and banana. To be clear, it doesn’t smell like banana bread.

Taste: Fruity banana like yeast, bread notes and spicy, non abrasive hops.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied and modestly carbonated.

Overall: The most flavorful, hearty hefe I have had. I might have liked others better, but this one stands out for its awesome appearance and body.
