Ommegang Rouge Grand Cru

The  beer is  brewed by Bockor in Belgium for Ommegang. Draft only. Authentic Flemish red ale aged 18 months in French oak.

Ommegang/Bockor – Ommegang Rouge Grand Cru – 12 oz. glass poured at Naja’s Place, Redondo Beach, CA. 5.5% abv.

Appearance: Pours a maroon red with no head. Leaves webby lacing behind on the glass.

Aroma: Sour grape skin.

Taste: Sour cherry, sweet cherry, and other various acidic tartness.

Mouthfeel: Puckering and juicy.

Overall: A sweet, sour, refreshing beer.

    I absolutely LOVE this beer. Found it at the Olde Town Alehouse in Fishers, IN (no longer open), and had at least three pints that night. I want them to bottle this.
