Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot Ale

Submitted by Dan on May 11, 2010 – 1:36 pm No Comment

From Lagunitas – WTF Ale. A malty, robust, jobless Recovery Ale! We’re not quite in the Red, or in the Black… Does that mean we’re in the Brown?

Lagunitas Brewing – Lagunitas Wilco Tango Foxtrot (WTF) Ale – 22 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. 7.83% abv. Purchased at Lone Hill Liquor – Glendora, CA – Thanks Stan!

Appearance: Pours a dark red with a creamy 1/4 inch cap of head.

Aroma: Dry hop goodness and a bit of brown sugar and spice.

Taste: Nice piney abrasive hops and slightly burnt malt.

Mouthfeel: Thin with modest carbonation.

Overall: Very nice.  Great level of hopping, not sticky like some Lagunitas beers, really bold and refreshing at the same time.
