Dogfish Head Festina Peche

Submitted by Dan on August 30, 2009 – 7:33 pm No Comment

Dogfish Head Festina PecheFrom Dogfish HeadA refreshing neo-BerlinerWeisse fermented with honest-to-goodness peaches to (get this!) 4.5% abv! Because extreme beers don’t have to be extremely boozy! Available in 4-pack and draft during the sweaty months.

Dogfish Head – Festina Peche – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 4.5% abv.

Appearance: Pours a pastel, deviled egg yellow with a rapidly subsiding head.

Aroma: Wheaty grain and sour dough.

Taste: Lemons, tart raspberries, grain and tart, unripe peaches.

Mouthfeel: Thin and slighly puckering.

Overall: Refreshing, crisp, tasty, not as peachy as I imagined it to be.
