Cantillon Lou PepeFrom Cantillon - Fresh sour cherries (krieken) in two year old Lambiek. We use approximately 300 gr cherries for 1 liter Kriek. The second fermentation in the bottle is obtained through addition of a liqueur, made with beer and saccharose.

Cantillon – Cantillon Lou Pepe Pure Kriek – Vintage 2006 – Shared by someone at Stone Sourfest 2010 – 750 ml. bottle poured into a goblet. 5% abv.

Appearance: Pours a bright salmon pink with no head. The body is rather cloudy.

Aroma: Big tropical fruit, sour cherry, watermelon rind and funk.

Taste: Watermelon, tart lemon, sour cherry and tannins.

Mouthfeel: Puckering, full bodied, low carbonation.

Overall: Amazing.
