From Bear Republic - Crafted with a blend of American and English malts and aggressively hopped with Pacific Northwest hops, this beer reflects what our brewers believe to be the Apex of IPA.
Bear Republic Brewing – Bear Republic Apex – Glass poured at 38 Degrees in Alhambra, CA 7.5% abv.
Appearance: Pours a clear copper with a lasting 1/4 inch white head.
Aroma: Orange pineapple and mango.
Taste: Bitter resiny pine, brown sugar and a little bit of citrus fruit.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and sticky.
Overall: A wonderful, balanced Double IPA.
