Sweetwater Brewing – Festive Ale and the Dank Tank

Submitted by Jonny Fullpint on November 25, 2008 – 4:54 pm No Comment

‘Tis the Time of year for this big ole beer. Available now through Christmas – The Happy Ending will put a smile on everyone’s face and close the year out right.

This year’s version of Festive Ale has been cranked up. Bigger bodied and a bit higher gravity than in years past. This spiced strong ale will certainly do the trick. Get it while you can.

Hoppy Holidays !

Brewed only one day a year, this full bodied, high octane brew is capped off with cinnamon and mace. We only bottle 7200 liters, 3800 12 oz. cases, and a handful of kegs, so get it while you can.

Specs: 8.6% alcohol, Six Packs, Liter Bottles, 15.5 Gallon 1/2Bbl kegs (US Sankey) 5 Gallon torpedo Kegs

Dank Tank – Brewers Freak Show

We have dedicated one 50 barrel tank to the dark side.
Experimental is an understatement for the randomness that will be unleashed from this sucker.

A few times a year our brewers will challange their sanity and our taste buds.

Our first offering is
“The Creeper”
A potent belgian trippel packed up with heady hops
“This is a 1 Hitter Quitter” at over 10% ABV
“It’ll creep up on you”

The creeper is going into kegs only and it is on draft now at our tours – depending on how much of it we drink we will probably send a few kegs out to an unsuspecting city of Atlanta in the middle if December.
