On June 9, 1994, Saint Arnold’s shipped their first kegs (Amber Ale).  We’ll be drinking to that today!

This Thursday, Susan Cowsill will be playing The Beatles’ “Revolver” album in its entirety at Discovery Green’s Thursday Rocks! Concert.  Grammy winner Cowsill started her singing career in the 60′s and today lives in New Orleans.  Revolver is one of the all time greatest albums (and a personal favorite).  We are curious how she is going to play the guitar backwards though in “I’m Only Sleeping”.  We’ll have to go find out!  We presume the song list will be from the original UK release. (And if you don’t know this album, go to Cactus Music and buy it!)

We will also be there collecting your six pack carriers to recycle (double points!!) and doing some exchanges!

Concerts start at 6:30 PM each week.

LOCAL ROLAND THATCHER IS BACK ON THE PGA TOUR SWINGING WITH SAINT ARNOLD
Our favorite golfer Roland Thatcher is on the PGA tour with Saint Arnold on his sleeve! He suffered a wrist injury last season, but thanks to hard work and the recuperative powers of Saint Arnold, he is back and ready to take on Tiger Woods’ knee (which would be stronger if he drank Saint Arnold too). Make sure to keep up with Roland’s progress this summer.

ANOTHER POLITICAL CAUSE!
The Senate Finance Committee is considering raising the taxes on beer.  They want to triple what we pay the feds currently.  This is serious.  Texas’ John Cornyn is on this committee.  Please write and tell him (at his DC office) that you strongly oppose raising beer taxes.  This would be disastrous for small breweries not to mention increasing even further what you pay for a six pack.

Thanks for 15 years of support!  We have enjoyed brewing for you for all these years.
