Four Peaks To Release Two New Seasonals On Same Day

Four Peaks Brewing Company(Tempe, Arizona – August, 2010 – We’re doing something for the first time in the storied history of the Four Peaks Brewery and we thought it warranted it’s own E-mail blast.

On Monday the 16th of August we’re releasing, not one, but TWO new beers!

Well, OK, we did release ALL the beers on the day we opened, but you get the point.

First, we are going to tap the new, and much improved, Poppin’ Pils.  This is a collaborative effort between Four Peaks Brewing Co. and the Sun Up Brewery (at Sun Up it will be called Patriot Pilsner).  Basically, Uwe, the Brewer at Sun Up, needed some fermentation space (which we had), and we were itching to do a lager.  One thing led to another, his chocolate got into our peanut butter, and, voila!  A classic German-style Pilsner was born.  It’s a little more aggressively hopped than say a Czech or Bohemian Pilsner with a slightly higher alcohol content as well.  It has a light golden color with an aroma that can only be described as “noble”, as in noble hops; the hops traditionally found in lager beer. We’ve had a few samplings and we really think we nailed this one.  It’s the perfect beer to send summer on it’s way.

Second, we are releasing a solo effort by one of our brewers, Neal. It’s called Onan’s ESB, or, Extra Special Bitter.  Actually, it’s a lot like an EESB, Extra, Extra Special, because it was brewed on the upper limits of the style guidelines.  It’s a little darker, a little more hoppy, a little more malty, with a slightly toasted twist.  It’s a whole lot of delicious.

So, if you’re just hangin’ around, wonderin’ what to do, then come by and have a beer, or TWO!
